Life beyond the edge or "The one, who celebrates every day"
Michal Marosi as a person who sacrificed everything to his idea of life. A pusher, a heartthrob without pretense, an athlete and a steamer, but above all a rider who was never afraid.
From the first falls to success at the Red Bull Rampage, family happiness, victory in the World Cup to the adventure of a lone wolf looking for freedom and the truth of life, Michal Marosi always had something to say. His story will be summarized in a new full-length documentary by director Martin Vrbicky.
Michal is forty-five years old today. He spent most of his life behind the wheel. "People will hear about blood, twists, booze, drugs and conflicts with the law in the story," says Michal. "I was always quite on edge, but I think that's why I had a much more colorful life," laughs the athlete, who competed among the world's best in BMX, as well as in various mountain bike disciplines. He collected media at home and abroad, became European champion in dual slalom, participated in the dreaded Red Bull Rampage freeride race in Utah four times, and in the last years of his sports career represented the colors of the best fourcross team in the world, RSP Racing, with which he won the World Cup.
